we're getting married!

We met in the way so many do today; online! Our first date was at one of two restaurants open during that time; Ramen San! We immediately hit it off talking all through dinner and afterwards we didn't want the date to end so we walked all over downtown Chicago for hours just getting to know each other and checking out the many Christmas decorations! The rest is history and we fell in love right away!

The long awaited proposal happened in Paris...Tennessee! Callie thought we were driving down to visit Steven's Aunt Ruth and Uncle Harry in Tennessee and thought Steven was just being stubborn controlling the GPS and radio. Turns out he was making a stop a few hours out of the way to propose in Paris! Callie is apparently very easy to kidnap and was none the wiser (even though we had done the drive multiple times before) and didn't notice we weren't in or close to Carthage until we pulled into the parking lot of the Eiffel Tower! Shannon and Matt got there before us and were hiding behind a tree to capture the moment! It was perfect and beautiful and we are so grateful for the beautiful pictures from that day!
